What is an X3F File?
The .X3F files are created by SIGMA digital cameras to store high-end RAW images captured by the Foveon X3 camera sensors. An X3F file contains data for a single image, along with other content such as its metadata, thumbnail, and preview image. Since these files are uncompressed, they can take up a significant amount of storage space.
X3F files can be opened and used with different viewing and editing programs listed below.
